The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) delivered some excellent news today regarding their Annual Business Awards 2019. We are pleased to announce that after a record number of applicants, we have been revealed as shortlisted finalists for the ‘Excellence in Technology & Innovation’ category (see below).
The ‘Technology & Innovation’ category is sponsored by Millennium Point and includes some fantastic businesses. The winner will be decided by a panel of expert judges, and announced at the ceremony on 11th April 2019 at the ICC in Birmingham. You can view the event details here.
The panel of six judges includes: Russell Jeans, chair; Jo Birch, Birmingham City University; Dee Kundi, VWV; Ravinder Masih, Warwickshire County Cricket Club; Zo Hoida, Browne Jacobson; and Martin Levermore, Medical Devices Technology International. The Birmingham Chambers will announce one winner from each of the ten sectors, as well as an overall winner for ‘Business of the Year 2019’.
Russell Jeans, Chairman of the Judges and Chief Operating Officer at the GBCC, said: “Once again the huge number of entries demonstrates the diversity of businesses across the Greater Birmingham area. Our judges commented on the high calibre of entries and the Chambers thanks them for their diligence and enthusiasm in tackling what became a huge task.”
We look forward to attending the prestigious event in April, along with 1,200 guests from a diverse range of businesses and sectors across Birmingham. You can keep updated with us via our Twitter, @METCloud_com.
